BiteBeam is a mobile application available on iOS and Android that allows users to scan or upload food photos to receive AI-generated insights.

  • Health warnings (based on user-defined allergies and conditions)

2. User Accounts

You must create an account to use BiteBeam, using one of the following:

  • Email
  • Google Sign-In
  • Apple Sign-In

You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure.

3. User Content & Permissions

By uploading food images, you grant us a non-exclusive, limited license to process and store them solely to provide app services. You retain ownership of your content and may delete your account or content at any time.

4. AI Content Disclaimer

BiteBeam uses AI models (via OpenAI) to analyze images and provide content.

Important:

  • This content is generated automatically and may be inaccurate or incomplete.
  • It does not constitute medical or dietary advice. Always consult a qualified health provider before making decisions based on app content.

5. Payments and Subscriptions

BiteBeam offers:

  • Free access to limited features
  • Premium access via Apple or Google subscriptions

Subscriptions auto-renew unless canceled via your app store settings. Refunds are subject to the store's policies.

6. Intellectual Property

All trademarks, branding, and in-app tools belong to BiteBeam or its licensors. You may not copy, distribute, or reuse any part of the app without written permission.

7. User Responsibilities

You agree not to:

  • Upload content that violates laws or the rights of others
  • Use the app for harmful, misleading, or illegal purposes
  • Reverse engineer or interfere with app functionality

8. Limitation of Liability

BiteBeam is provided "as is". We are not responsible for:

  • Errors in AI-generated content
  • Decisions made based on app output
  • Data loss or third-party service failures

9. Modifications & Termination

We may modify these Terms at any time. Continued use after updates constitutes acceptance. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access for violations.
